For our flagship mission trip our goal was to speak with locals and visit various areas to gather information to better serve those in the most desperate situations. We were able to visit 15 regions/villages throughout Central Kenya. Each village had 10 children apart from a few like Kibwezi that had 20 (10 in slums and 10 at school) and Masimba that had 14 kids. In total we helped 160 kids.
We also helped 6 street kids in Nakuru. It was after seeing these children and hearing the stories of how they sleep on the sidewalks and their one request of going to school, it is here we decided to focus. As a result, on our next trip to serve the orphans and vulnerable street children in Nakuru and surrounding villages.
2012 Kenyan Mission Trip - Itinerary is forthcoming and will be posted here when available.
